Free “free stuff” – x2 QF Lounge Passes

I did not think I would have another "free stuff" post in 2020 but after reading that QF are going to be opening most lounges in early December I checked my QFF account and sure enough there were lounge passes available. I am not sure if these are old passes that have been extended or the ones that just seem to appear in my account (presumably from a CC) or a combination of both.

So on offer x4 QF Lounge Passes, x2 20 Mar 21 and x2 31 Mar 21. These are standard lounge passes and under normal circumstances would just work. Due to current restrictions I spoke with QFF and have been advised:

• pre Covid these cannot be used at domestic J lounges, however at a location where the J lounge in the only lounge open these may work. Edit what this means is that during Covid if the QF J lounge is the only lounge this is considered to be the QF Pub. If there is a QF Pub and QF J lounge open at the same time during Covid you will only have access to the QF Pub.
• due to capacity restrictions entry may not be allowed.
• No commitment from QF if the expiry date would be extended if you cannot use them due to unforeseen changes or inability to travel either by the traveller or QF.

Things to note:

• Please do not send PM, I will not respond just indicate interest and post details.
• Not concerned if they go to different AFF members or those who need for a travelling companion.
• Flights must be QF or JQ number and operated, see QF rules
• The recipient(s) will need to provide me their QFF details (It is just name and QFF no.) to transfer.

If you are not comfortable with the last bullet points please don't ask for the passes. To use them you will need to link them to your booking via the QF website.

But I presume not, if too many are trying that. So don't tell anyone!

My first reaction is is to edit my original post and leave it at that however will do so after posting this response. My wording may be misunderstood, misinterpreted or cause confusion so for clarity I will try and make this simple.

In a QF lounge location that normally runs a J and a QP (MEL, SYD, BNE etc.) during covid QF may open one space only be it the J or QP space, go back a few years there was only one lounge that fits all, in the current environment nothing has changed.

@henrus and @Virgin Bart I have just checked my account and I realised I stuffed up the expiry dates the actual expiry dates are x2 20 Mar 21 and x2 31 Mar 22 if this makes a difference to your preference let me know.
