$0.14 per SC? Sort of... ;-)

You should consider getting yourself an APEC card, if your work travel qualifies you (Mexico is one of the economies you can get approved for). Remember I mentioned on Facebook about how I made it from Plane to Kerb in LAX in about 10 minutes once?

Regrettably - I wouldn't qualify right now. Next year that might change, depending on what happens at work, but for now pretty much all the travel I do is of a personal nature.

Still, I managed to get from the arrival gate to the Flagship lounge in a shade over an hour, so i figure that's doing pretty well!

Thanks SERFTY et al. Much appreciated.

By the way, Qantas US site has some fantastic bargains in business from SFO/LAX; check the US website

Cheers

can I book a return flight dept Syd-LAX usingQF usa site?
No - you can only select from a list of USA origins.

More to the point, the cheapest current base return fare on QF LAX-SYD is USD638 while the cheapest current base return fare on QF SYD-LAX AUD1019.

Exactly, serfty, and with the dollar around par, that's a huge difference. I used the Qantas USA site for a multiple return but still have to find my way over to the US. I quite like going Jet* to Hawaii and having a couple days snoozing on Waikiki beach before heading to LA. Life's not too bad....

:?:
Yep, pretty much. My fave is the LAX-SFO which can be done for about $300 and gets you heaps of SC's too.

There are specific search engines just to target these routes.

What are these search engines, svp?
