So it looks like amex has a new credit card with no annual fee which will Earn 1 Membership Rewards point per dollar spent on all purchases[SUP]2[/SUP] except utilities, insurance, telecommunications providers and government bodies in Australia where you will earn 0.5 points per dollar spent,

No bonus sign ups yet but it does also include Smartphone Screen Insurance for screen repairs

• Smartphone Screen Insurance for screen repairs if you accidentally break your Smartphone screen. We will reimburse you for the cost of the screen repair up to $500 with a 10% excess per claim[SUP]4[/SUP]

just found out via another website that this card is part of membership rewards gateway and not Ascent like most other cards at 4MR to 3 airline points, 13,500 to $100 statement credit/gift cards
