Most of the time they just base your last two payslips and find yearly salary from that so if you had a bumper fortnight then you could jack up your salary a lot.

Awesome! I'm just after the travel insurance really(already have enough cards). Hopefully the anz application last week won't affect it.

Has anyone had them call your employer?

They are very hard to predict. They wouldn't increase my credit limit from $14.5k to $15k so I could get the Signature, despite my income having increased by ~$30k p.a. since they approved the Platinum card application.

Maybe check your Veda score as that could provide a guide.

ANZ also has better travel insurance as far as I'm aware if that's all you're getting it for.

The Citibank Rewards points should be accruing as soon as eligible transactions appear on your account (maybe give or take 24 hours). You can also track this online. Assuming this isn't QFF Points you're referring to which is where the Points transfers only happen monthly.

A few weeks ago, I applied for the Signature under this promotion and despite some small issues, I was generally happy with the process, even hearing "welcome to the family" by a call centre agent when activating the card. I would have cancelled my Woolworths Everyday Rewards card, however they have given me a fee-waiver so there is no need for that.

Since then, I have received my first statement about two weeks ago, however my Citibank rewards points balance remained at 0, despite putting more than $5K on this card. Before contacting the call centre, I wanted to ask here whether there always is a delay between statement date and the rewards points balance being updated - is there? Otherwise, I guess this will be my first test on how well the (apparently dreaded for some here) call centre experience shapes up for me...

They never called my employer (me*) to confirm anything. For a week I answered the phone in a dodgy name just in case

*I am an employee of a P/L company that I own.

Can anyone tell me - Is the Citibank Signature BPAY friendly (earning points that is)??

Thanks

Guys, come on. This question has been asked and answered numerous times in this thread, and even has its own dedicated thread in the Citibank section.

Yes, at the present time BPAY earns reward points.

Apologies, I am new. I assumed this question had been asked and answered several times, but I simply don't have time to go through an 87 page thread....and knowing the purpose of this forum I (rightly, judging by the quick response I received) assumed that one of your good selves would take 30 seconds out of your day to answer my question.

By the way, I appreciate you referring me to the dedicated thread under the Citibank section...I will place my next question there :)

I am still waiting. My app was submitted 4 weeks ago now...I have made 3 phone calls .... each time to be told they don't know why it's delayed and everything is verified and it is sitting with the approvals team.

This is getting ridiculous! Income has been verified and is over 25k above minimum limit and I was, at one stage conditionally approved.

Has anyone had lengthy application delays recently or is it just me?

YAY! Finally received an email today advising me that my application has been approved - 37 days later!!!

Now to wait for the card to arrive in the mail to check that may application wasn't downgraded to the Platinum card.

:)

I guess that's the thing that a lot find frustrating...we wrote that 87 pages not just read it. It might take 30 seconds to answer but multiply that for many new members asking that question and it adds up. Plus, the search function isn't too bad! :)

Not too mention that those who hang around don't find it particularly fun answering the same question over and over again ;)

Anyone else getting cold called to either 1. Balance transfer or 2. Give you money 6 months interest free(Lump sum but don't use the card for 6 months)
mmmmm told them to ring back in 24hrs
Probably not because like an unofficial loan hey?
Its still my money!

Applied for the ANZ Frequent Flyer Classic on Friday 25/7/14. Got referred and then approved on Monday 28/7/14. Just received cards today in the mail. Now to activate them and pay some bills. Then to be put aside in a draw for the next four months. Did help already being a ANZ customer with all accounts with them. Seriously this is J awards for jam!

Yep same deal. Maybe I shouldn't have reduced my credit limit from ~50k.

Do you still get fee free for sup card holders?

I wonder if they would offer Select for half price like they do for citigold clients.... imagine if they offered that for $0 pa

Anyone know what happens when the Priority Pass card expires? Do you automatically get a new one or do you need to do something to get a new one?
