playground posts don't add to post counts - do they?

If it's not post padding, maybe they are genuine :shock:
 
As I understand it, welcoming (in Open) counts, congratulating (in Playground) doesn't

Exactly right! I am sure many who post here are doing so out of a sense of shared experience and from their own enjoyment when they were recogised as "established members".

I for one do not believe that the obsession with trying to identify so-called "post padding" in various threads does anything to build a stronger AFF community.

Nah. Been around for ages. Better utilised on Flyertalk in the counting threads.

Writing as I have noticed my likes are not being sustained through to the next post. And have to quote twice to achieve a quoted reply in the AFF iPhone app :rolleyes:
