I had no idea you could give these away.

I also had no idea they were transferable.
I would have offered it here.
And I thought it was only for where I was flying to and I wasn't ready to book as the trip is next year.
Thanks to this thread next time I will use it more wisely.

I have not been issued a $30 voucher in a long time. Just an email with access to their special deals that are not so special.

I've now done 2 x bookings in the last 2 weeks and just the 'Qantas flyers access cheaper hotel prices' email (which are no cheaper than the Qantas Hotel Booking site anyway) - no $30 voucher email since the beginning of this financial year for me.

Just curious. Were they received in association with making a flight booking?
I've made 3 flight bookings in the last 3/4 weeks and no longer receiving the 72 hour email.

Just as a reference point. I have not received a hotel voucher for a long time. I keep receiving an email your booking unlocks special prices which are the same for everyone.

I received a Qantas voucher some months ago. I paid cash for my flights. But back then I did not know you could transfer them, I do now.

When looking back through my emails, the last flight booking that I received a $30 voucher (to use within 72 hours) was booking made in the first week of May, nothing since. :-(

I have a $30 voucher available until midday tomorrow. First in, best dressed.

The $30 voucher issued by Qantas can only be used towards part, or full payment of hotel bookings on qantas.com. If there is a balance remaining to be paid, you must pay this balance with a credit/charge card. The $30 voucher can only be used on one transaction. The voucher must be used by 04-Nov-16 13:17 AEST, otherwise it will be forfeited. Vouchers are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Vouchers may be transferred, but are not valid if sold. Vouchers can only be used once and any unused portion of the voucher will be forfeited. The value of the voucher will not be refunded and no replacement voucher will be issued when cancelling a booking. If you change or cancel a booking, any hotel fee amount will be deducted from the amount paid by you, up to a maximum of the amount originally paid by you. The hotel fee value cannot be paid using the voucher value.
