10,000 Bonus Points Per Club InterContinental Stay In Asia-Pacific...

My stay was at the start of August and I haven't got anything. I thought this was a targeted offer and I signed uo through a link (Loyalty lobby I think)
Here is a part of the T&C's for the promotion.

Many offers are only available to IHG Rewards Club members who receive a specific, targeted communication from IHG. Successful registration does not guarantee that you will receive the points or miles offered when the offer requirements are met if you are not eligible as per the offer terms and conditions

I'm not going to chase this one as IHG have cancelled peoples accounts in the past for points fraud and claiming offers which were not intend for them. Chasing 10000 points isn't worth risking the 400K points I have available to me

I did get the offer, but from memory I needed to join or renew. I had no real need to renew at the time, so maybe that disqualified me.

Anyway, haven;t got the points....

Oh ok, I didn't get an offer from IHG I signed up from a link somewhere

Has anyone actually received the points for this?

Nope. Stayed in September.

Exactly why I have chosen not to chase the points.

I found the link elsewhere and registered before I could actually renew. Interestingly, since I have renewed I see the offer in the offers section, but the page goes no where when I click the image, possibly because I am already registered... but I have no plans to stay again till next year now, after the promotion finishes!

Sounds like they actually have tied it to the renewal. I didn't see the point in renewing 5 months early :)
Oh well.

I didn't think you could... and I tried :p but more recently I was able to renew 2 months early, that I think I read was the maximum allowed.

Dunno, I never tried. On the registration page it gave me the option to renew. Maybe it would have conked out had I tried!

BE CAREFUL !!
Read the T & C's.
It says "booked at the CLUB RATE" not book a Club Room or Club Stay
I stayed in International Bangkok and booked a Club room.
The Points did not post Suite.
I queried it and it was pointed out the room had to be booked at the IC Club RATE.
Guess I have nothing to complain about I should have read the T & C's more carefully BUT booking a CLUB ROOM would to me imply a Club RATE but clearly not.
Lesson in ( IHG ) Life !
