It does say take out the insurance by July 2013. Keep for a year. Must read the t and c to see if I can go round again.

so do u think is it worth it for 20k QFF?:?:

Probably, depends on how you drop the figures down, I get $10 a month for 6 months with three month wait, so that 20K is costing $120 if you dont take the policy seriously, and does not take into account tax deduction possibilities.

It depends. I found getting the OnePath income protection for 12 moths with the $100 Healthy Living Bonus + getting accident or illness protection (I forget) for 8 months was cheaper than getting ANZ income protection for 12 months. YMMV.

For those interested, I was attending a seminar from OnePath yesterday and they advised that they had bought 120 million QFF points from Qantas thus far under this offer, with 16% of customers (or 48K) obtaining the bonus points. I chuckled to myself knowing a lot of them were on AFF :D.

A good 10 people "I know very well" are waiting for the points here ;)

Would love to know what they paid for those 120 million points too

Onepath Income - $8.26 p/fortnight - $107.38 total
Onepath Life - $5 p/fortnight - $65 total
Total spend $172.38 for 6 months, for 20,000 points
if im not mistaken that is about 115 points per dollar spent?

So, it's a new year and I cancelled my policies yesterday. I'm thinking that I can apply again for a "new policy" once my cancellation is fully processed and pick up another 10K bonus QF points. Any info on OnePath's definition of "new"?

I read the t&c's earlier today - they say that you can't have held a policy in the last 12 months.

A couple of questions:

When did you take out the policy?
Did you choose monthly or yearly payment?
Have you received your bonus points?

Ah. That's a bugger.

12 May. Annual payment. Getting prorated refund. Received bonus points.
