10% Bonus on CC Points Transfers + 10% Off Reward Seats

Ive been thinking about changing cards for a while, Ive been with ANZ since I got my first credit card and ATMs were very very new so finally did it and got an extra 40,000 points for my troubles.

My husband was also on the phone to them today (we have separate accounts but he already has a velocity card) and for waiting online during the call/clarifying his questions, they gave him an extra few thousand points as well.

Will be booking flights to the US soon so going to use the points to upgrade to J.

Have emailed Velocity as really disappointed it doesn't include Altitude, what's the go with this??

Last promotion 15% also, now I get no points what so ever because I use the wrong card ??

I just did my citibank transfer - first time since I got the signature fee free for life card. I didn't know there was a max transfer of 60K velocity points (90k reward points) - but can I do this multiple times? say at the end of the month again

There was even a 50% in May 2008.

So the way this is going, the next one later in the year could be as little as 5% and then that's it.
Much like there be no incentives to transfer bank points to QFF...

I'll be in again this yer...on 31st May, to ensure as many points are in Amex to transfer. Only up to 25K now, so the bonus points aren't too important.

Sorry to bump but my points still have not credited (I noticed some points posted in 3 days for others) - I am thinking I am going to have to call the call centre as I assume they are having difficulties with the hyphen in my name (though Velocity is one of the few FF programs that include it) - so should I just sit it out for the 28 days (and miss the end of may bonus) or hit the panic button and ask WT* is going on to the call centre??

My transfer from Citibank Signature which I transferred on 03/05 was taking forever. I checked yesterday and it the status is rejected. I've done the same transfer 4 times previously so unsure why this has happened. Anyone seen this before? I have this all linked previously in the past and transferred 15k Citibank Reward points across.

My transfer to Velocity from Citibank was also rejected. Phoned Citi earlier - they said it was because I hadn't entered my title before my name when initiating the transfer. IIRC, the website just asks you to enter your name! In any case, I'm somewhat sceptical that's what the problem was, but we'll see - the girl I spoke to said she's put it through again with my title there.

I have decided not to transfer but keep them for the next one. If they do not give me a better offer than 10% bonus I will be looking elsewhere.
