10 bonus Velocity status credits for transferring 10,000 flybuys points

Interestingly, I got email from Virgin for both 10 SCs offer, as well as 15% more VA points offer. I wonder if they stack.

Received both 10SC for 10,000 FBs (dont have 10,000 FB points so academic) and the 100/2000 offer (ie. 5%) which is underwhelming given recent 15% offers.

Unlikely to take up either offer unless I get a sudden FB point windfall.

It's +100 bonus Velocity Points for every 2,000 FlyBuys transferred, which means each lot of 2,000FB becomes 870 + 100 = 970VP. Which is an 11.5% bonus.

Whereas the 15% offer works out to 870 + 130.5 = 1,001VP for each lot of 2,000FB transferred.

I would say that this means once

For the promotional period 1 April 2018 to 30 April 2018, linked households will receive 10 Status Credits when 10,000 or more flybuys points are transferred to Velocity Frequent Flyer Points

I read it as once only as it says ‘10SC when 10,000 or more flybuys points are transferred’.
Not super clear admittedly.

Going to be a fair way short of requalifying Gold by end September and have just over 50,000 Flybuys points.

Correct - that's pretty much how it works.

Transfers of points don't often come with bonus SC. More common is a double SC offer on spend, and even that is only a couple of times a year.

Bonus status credits have posted today with an activity date of 29th May (i.e. later than the time of the transfer). They have therefore ended up in my rather than mrs andye's account. Not a problem from my point of view but could have affected some
