1. THOU SHALT WORSHIP ALL MANNER OF GODS AND IDOLS
Worship? No. Pay appropriate respect to other cultures? Naturally.

2. THOU SHALT TRAVEL SLOWLY

Travel at the pace you prefer.

3. THOU SHALT, WHEREVER POSSIBLE, HAVE A CRACK AT THE LOCAL LINGO

Not necessarily, although obviously in some places it can be seen as a sign of respect for trying.

4. THOU SHALT EAT STREET FOOD

On the streets of Amsterdam, Berlin, and other places? Sure. In Bali? Good luck.

5. THOU SHALT TRAVEL WITH A CONSCIENCE

What constitutes a conscience?

6. THOU SHALT TREAT THYSELF

If I'm travelling it's a treat.

7. THOU SHALT COVET THY NEIGHBOUR'S HOUSE

I don't really understand why.

8. THOU SHALT TUCK THINE SMARTPHONE AWAY IN THE FOLDS OF THINE GARMENTS

Why waste such a useful tool?

9. THOU SHALT TALK TO STRANGERS

I don't generally seek out strangers at home and I wouldn't do it away unless necessary.

10. THOU SHALT TELL THE TRUTH, NOT BOAST AND NOT BLOG

You should always tell the truth, boast when appropriate, and blog at your own discretion.
