Hmm.. I just went through and paid for a hotel using my Amex Plat Edge and I got no prompts saying that I would earn Amex points instead of airline miles. Was I supposed to tick something?

Wow. Looks like it has changed very recently. Just tried myself. I have dropped them an email to see what they say. Might get lucky and double dip.

Yeh the option for membership rewards wasn't there. I really hope this deal is still on - it is a great deal. If it isn't I may switch back to rocket miles.

So I actually made a booking last week (Wednesday) and there are no bonus Membership Rewards points that have come through. On previous bookings, the bonus points usually came through a day or two after I made the booking.

I have also e-mailed Kaligo, and I'm yet to get a response.

It seems to me the amount of bonus point opportunities for the Membership rewards program is progressively getting worse and worse which is disapointing. I pay a $195 annual fee for my plat edge and seem to be getting less and less value for it.
