Sniip are offering $10 credit on your first bill payment. I use their app to pay bills and the ATO with my Amex card and still get full points. Though there is a 1.5% fee to use it so only makes sense if you have a high rate card, value your points more than that, or can claim the fee on tax

My referral link is: https://sniip-code-image.sniip.com/sniip?scode=jDGK

Code: jDGK

I'll also get an additional $10 off if you use it. 👍

To be eligible for Sniip Rewards:
  • The referring user needs to have paid a bill of $50 or more in the Sniip app
  • The referred user must be making their first payment of $50 or more on the Sniip app
  • Sniip Rewards or Credits cannot be used when Scheduling payments, or if using the Sniip QR code or AusPost code
  • Sniip reserves the right to void rewards if a user is found to have created a phantom account/s to earn rewards.

Earned Refer a Friend credits expire after twelve months.

Amex currently has an offer which allows you to earn up to $30 cashback (20%) with sniip. Great to stack with the $10 referral signup credit (check your amex app to see it you have the offer).

Feel free to use my sniip referral link (code 429a) here pay.sniip.com/?s=429a

That offer is currently available on one of my Amex cards. On the other, there is a different offer:
Spend $250 or more, in one or more transactions, via the Sniip app by 21/07/2023 to get 1,250 Membership Rewards Bonus Points.

Hi all, SNIIP is great for paying bills for merchants don't accept AMEX or who awards less points, e.g ATO. Although there's fee of 1.2-1.5% , it makes sense if you are redeeming for long haul international J/F

Use my code nDwJ at Sniip

I used Sniip for the first time recently to pay a bill with Amex wasn't accepted. How long should it normally take for the payment to reach the biller?

I'd normally wait up to 5 business days and double check. If hasn't arrived then contact Sniip support

Thank you for your rapid response @lilkid28; much appreciated. It hasn't been 5 business days yet so I'll continue waiting and hope that it goes through.

I'm getting my head around this - say with personal cc use, basically you still pay the AMEX fee of 1.2-1.5% which you would have paid if the merchant accepted AMEX by using the Sniip APP / merchants BPay.
It seems a big advantage to me would be that , if a merchant does not accept CCs only direct credit or BPay , you could pay close to the end of your CC month and not actually have to pay the money out of your own funds for say 50 days if done right.
Am I understanding this correctly?
Are there any other upsides that I have missed?
