Did a paypal survey (i think it was) and was supposed tog get $15 AUD,
but they sent me a $10USD Ebay US card

Only works in Ebay US site

should work on aus site as well. anyway u can access the aus site listings thru the US site.

I assume that counts it out? tried to order from dan murphys for click and collect

Create a US ebay account, with a US address, but then an Australian delivery address. You should be able to use it on the US site then.

thanks, I did that and opened a ebay US account, chose random US address, it works, but when I choose shipping address as AUS, it says the same error

have I exhuasted my options

Were there any terms with the gift card - check it is actually a US gift card if you can. If it is it is only meant to work on the ebay US site.

In which case, double check the item you are buying is on ebay.com and priced in US dollars.

It sounds like either one of those conditions aren't being met.
