Well, I just received a call from Qantas Assure despite my number being listed on the Do Not Call register. Not happy.

If you gave them your number, and provided consent to contact you (as per the T&Cs), then they can call you....

So here's the thing, from recent experience I have far more examples where significant parts of the T&Cs don't actually happen than I have when they are adhered to totally. In fact that's almost exclusively my experience. So personally, to me, it seems the intelligent thing to not expect that T&Cs will be followed. As such there's no way I was I interested in this particular promo.
