$100 off return Qantas flights to QLD (book by 19 May 2023)

I quite like this deal....suitable for me later in the year. PER-BNE return for just under 500 dollars (day flights) and then at last a visit to Longreach and the museum with fun Dash 8 flights from BNE and back for 248 dollars. Quite happy with that outcome although I am assuming hotels will be expensive ...🫣🤭 Separate tickets to utilise the discount on each return sector.

Looks like they ended the sale early. Just went to try the code and visited the promo link. Says now has ended :(

Bizarre - wonder if people were making bulk bookings and it was impacting yield too heavily? Or perhaps they had a certain quota of discounts available which have now been reached.

Oh well they just lost 3 bookings form me then, was waiting hear back from family members.

On Monday I saw they had in small print "limited to the first 2,000 bookings". My initial thought was that Queensland Tourism may be funding the discount.

Doesn't stop QF still sending out e mail reminders about this promo...got one 5 mins ago!! 🫣 Glad I used it when I did though.

Didnt know it was the first 2000 bookings only, maybe it was indeed funded by Queensland Tourism.

Too late for me though :(

I managed to snag one return fare for a footy day trip in early September ($160 or so return when combined with the Mother's Day sale). Perhaps I would've made more bookings had I known the amount of seats was as limited as it was.

I was about to pull the trigger on some flights when they killed the sale. Complained via the feedback form and surprisingly got a timely reply a few hours later advising they'd sold out of promo seats and gave me 5000 points as a gesture of goodwill.
Ditto @randompunter, had flights lined up ( just had to line up Mr Flyfrequently 😉) and sale finished "early".
Feedback only got me 2500 points but better than nothing.
Make mental note to be more proactive!
