just did my 3rd one and used AMEX because PayPal screwed up my last transaction (took the funds out of my bank instead of the CC even though I selected the CC as the source).. Anyway, hasn't been instant this time...

I just completed 5 transactions about an hour ago.

The first 4 were instant. The last hasn't gone through yet.
Points still in the account of the one trading from and not in the account trading to yet.

Is that common?

I got a transaction ID and funds have come off the credit card.

I just pushed 50 from mine into SWMBOs account, and then pushed back 50 from hers into mine (she already had some there).
No instant posting of miles, but I did get a screendump of the receipt a a backup.
It was using a 28 degree mastercard. Last time I used it, it took a couple of days to post for some reason. The card itself is showing the funds deducted - so all should be good.

Last 30 minutes now!

My Citi visa posted instantly yesterday morning but 28degrees Mcard and Westpac SQ Amex transactions posted overnight. I'll keenly check the AuD amounts for all three to see which is cheapest and which most costly.

I suppose that's it with these promotions prior to merger.

I know the merger has been pretty much officially signed off, but I'm still thinking / hoping there will be one more Buy Miles promotion at the least, viz. the Christmas promotion.
