No joy for me but I got Diamond in 2014 via the Diamond Challenge.

Based on the account number you entered, you are not eligible for an exclusive offer at this time.

Mine has the same!

:( I got to diamond through proper stays and still couldn't register. Question for those who got this, have you been Diamond for more than 1 year?

Have been Diamond for three years through stays and only got to Gold last year.

Two years, both BIB. Although the first year I had a challenge, I made it on stays anyway.

Obviously not being a Diamond I am not eligible. And the promo page similarly told me I was eligible for bupkus.

I wonder why the sudden gesture. This is not like the RBA cutting 2% off the interest rate and the bank mailing every customer a cheque for $100 or something like that.

I have been Diamond for 3 years and should drop to Gold. I registered and got 4 stays or 10 nights.

I think the reason they do it is like Qantas with comped Platinum, they think it makes sense for them commercially.[h=1][/h]

I have been Diamond for a few years (not sure how many) and used the link provided to get an instant 100,000 points.
Now to chase up the 20,000 the H in Paris promised to refund me.

The are changing their marketing approach to have targetted promotions and only a general one every second quarter. Next general one will probably be from May. Many Diamonds appear to have missed out on this targetted one - notably both very long serving Diamonds and short serving ones or those who got their status via an American credit card. I suspect the long serving ones will soon be picked up with Lifetime Diamond - clearly very valuable if you like to stay at Hiltons. The usual "why not me" is rampant over on FT.

So it looks like the closer to re-qual on our 2014 numbers, the lower the threshold to re-qual Diamond. That makes sense.

No luck for me.......would have liked another 100k in the till too!

To add to the knowledge bank, I didn't requal diamond last year (too many non-Hilton towns on the itinerary) but still hold diamond until end of March and will regain diamond (base points) before the end of March so I wasn't too worried. Looks like my divergence may have cost me 100k....or maybe not.

I had to re-verify my offer as it seemed too good to be true. It will come in handy for me as I didn't requalify for Diamond during 2014.

"Just complete 4 stays or 10 nights by April 30, and your Diamond status will be reinstated".

Edit: I've had HHonors membership for 10 years. Fast-track to Gold (twice), in the early years, followed by Diamond since, some on stays and some on spend. Then one VA match, followed by stays/spend. Then in 2014 would not have made Gold for 2015.

Diamond for 4 years, on base points and sometimes make the nights requirement too. Was eligible for the bonus points (but never got an email about the promo).
