Amex Platinum $200 "Dining credit" towards a list of Global Restaurants

They have removed the Netherlands entirely it seems, have really cut down the options this year...
You'd need a lot of chips and mayo to justify the $200. :)

Duck down to Paris for La Tour d'Argent for lunch would be my recommendation.

Just used the international dining credit this seek at Hello Beasty in Auckland - thought it was a great meal! Similar food/feel to Supernormal in Melbourne. Credit processed within 48 hours.

Got my amex plat charge last week, in hkg atm but offers haven't popped up to save :( went to chat and they said i have to wait and can't do it manually boo!!

Ate at Olé Spanish Restaurant (old school Spanish restaurant) in Central Hong Kong last week. They're one of the cheaper/cheapest places on the Amex list for HK. The AUD200 credit should cover a decent 3 course lunch for 2 depending on how many tapes you add-on. Small top up likely required if you start ordering drinks. We ordered lunch sets for 3, plus 4 tapes, no drinks other than water and the total came to AUD285, so AUD85 after discount. Pretty good value. Food was tasty. Recommend.

Wow hey it's soo expensive here! Last came in 2018, kids wanted to come visit but daymnnn

On Thursday we ate at the Craggy Range restaurant in Havelock North, NZ. We had the vegetarian shared menu, and it was outstanding throughout. Probably the highlight of the set items was the roast haloumi. But as we had booked the Chef's bar (max of 2 people) we got a couple of amazing off-menu items thrown in. Sweet and sour crispy shiitake mushrooms, and a pecorinoo cheese souffle. Both unbelievably nice.

Craggy Range is a beautiful place in the shadows of the Te Mata Peak, with a big cellar door, lots of different wine tasting experiences, accommodation and substantial gardens where they source a lot of their ingredients.

We were driving, so didn't drink much. The menu was NZ$95 each. After everything, we ended up paying just under AU$60. Exceptional value - and well worth the price anyway if we were paying outright.

And the $200 credit was in my account the next day.

Cheers,
Horatio
