Free Singapore tours for transit passengers

Did the 'City Sights' tour in the evening in early 2020, was a great way to kill a few hours and was very well organised to have everyone back in time

I did a transit tour about 7 years ago. I’ve never experienced anything quite so unnecessarily miserable. The tour guide verbally abused a number of the participants. She took to yelling at anyone who dared talk on the bus. There was a bit of an uprising half way though and a number of people just left the tour at one of the stops, deciding to make their own way back to the airport without the abuse. Then the tour guide yelled at the rest of us for not telling her they were leaving. If it had been my first experience I’d Singapore I’d probably never return to the country. It in no way reflected what I have come to expect from Singapore and it made me very sad.

I did the Changi Precinct Tour last year.

It was an interesting way to spend a couple of hours looking at local areas of Tampines and Changi.

Having been to Singapore many times over the last 25 years, I saw a couple of different aspects of Singaporean life I had not been aware of.
