From today until 27 March, you can earn up to 20,000 bonus Qantas points when booking with Qantas Hotels or Qantas Holidays:

  • Spend $500 to earn 5,000 bonus points
  • Spend $1,000 to earn 10,000 bonus points
  • Spend $2,000 top earn 20,000 bonus points

This is in addition to the regular 3 points per $1 you can earn, and any Qantas Business Rewards points.

A good time to dust of a QF hotel voucher (note to self to check if the voucher value is included in the spend amount!).

T&C's of offer:
You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem points. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions. Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn up to 20,000 bonus Qantas Points on all Qantas Holidays and Qantas Hotels booked through qantas.com/holidays and qantas.com/hotels from 6:00 am (AEDT) 21 March 2024 until 11:59 pm (AEDT) 27 March 2024 for travel up until 27 March 2025. Excludes Airbnb and Qantas Tours. If your booking is amended in the future, you will not earn the Bonus Points but will earn the points applicable for the booking at the time of amendment. Customers who spend $500 - $999 will receive 5,000 Bonus Qantas Points, customers who spend $1,000 - $1,999 will receive 10,000 Bonus Qantas Points and customers who spend $2,000+ will receive 20,000 Bonus Qantas Points. The spend amount is based on cash spent. Points Plus Pay can still be used but will not contribute to the spend threshold. Bonus Qantas Points will be issued to the member who has made the booking and is valid once per transaction. This is in addition to the standard earn rate of 3 points per A$1 spent on the total booking value. Qantas Points will not be earned on any amounts payable directly to the hotel. Points will be credited within 8 weeks of hotel check-out. In addition to the total package points earned, each Frequent Flyer member who enters their Qantas Frequent Flyer number into the booking will also earn Status Credits and Qantas Points on a flight component of a holiday package. The amount you earn depends on your flights, fare class and member status. Find out how many Qantas Points you could earn on your next Qantas Holidays flights with our online Points Calculator. Terms and conditions apply.

Hmm, that’s not clear if a $50 voucher is part of the cash component? I would have thought it was but $550 spend would be safe!
I would assume it's not (whether it's intended to be or not), purely based on the reliability of QF's tech around this and the fact that they don't give base points spend on voucher components (just the cash spend only). Wouldn't surprise me if this offer is treated in the same way.

Points allocated once per transaction. Guess that means multiple transactions/bookings attract the points! Haven't seen anything contrary in the T&C's
Yeah I was just reading this and wondering if I made three bookings and each totaled over $2000, would I get 60,000 points (3 x 20,000)!?! Seems to good to be true, but I don't see anything that specifically points against it in the T&C.

I can't work out if you would get 5,000 bonus points if making 2x bookings worth $250+ or if the $500 booking needs to be in one transaction? Based on the wording in the T&Cs I guess it needs to be in one transaction - if that's the case they presumably you could also get 60,000 points in the scenario described above by @kaelo.

Trying to book two rooms in one booking on Qantas Hotels, doesn't give me the option? If I book two rooms separately but both under my name, will I get the points for both bookings?

Does anyone know why this property isn't attracting bonus points when I check out? I know it's a bed and breakfast but it's not an Airbnb, doesn't seem against any T&Cs?

It's showing both sets of points for me. Have you already made a booking under this promo - it may be that it only applies once.

I'm playing around with splitting up a week's booking at the same hotel into multiple bookings to maximise points from this offer and where I was seeing the "plus bonus points" banner on the weekend -- when starting a booking to check the pts, but not completing the transaction -- I'm not seeing this now. Anyone else notice this?

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

I may look at cancelling an existing booking and using the credit voucher to rebook or book another hotel.

It should be all hotels. It could be QF's website. After this morning's issues -- which also included inconsistencies with cancellation dates for the hotel I was interested in booking -- I walked away and this evening, after clearing cache/cookies, tried again and was able to book my week's stay in 3 separate bookings. Each booking displayed the appropriate bonus points which weren't showing earlier. Note that this only comes up after you select your room and rate, during the booking process.
