120,000 points on the Qantas Ultimate Amex [Ends 18 Nov 2019]

I've received this card after applying via a referral link from an earlier offer, and would be thrilled if anyone would bestow a 40k bonus upon me by clicking here and applying via my referral link.

The 120,000 points you'll receive is the highest this card has been at in recent memory!

By using a referral from the forum, a middleman won't get a commission, but a friendly AFF'er will get a tiny bit closer to their next holiday.

If you apply by November 6, are approved, and haven't held an amex-issued amex in the last 18 months, and spend $4,500 in 3 months, you receive a whopping 120,000 points. In exchange for the $450 annual fee, you receive a $450 travel credit to spend on QF-coded flights, 2 lounge passes after QF spend, access to amex cashback offers, and more. Some things to consider when applying for this card:

• Amex conducts a credit check after you finish page one of the application form - not after completing the whole form. So only start entering detail into the form if you intend to finish it!
• You can activate the two free Qantas Lounge passes, which are delivered to you digitally, with any spend over $1 with the 'Qantas Air Australia' merchant. Here is one very affordable way to do it that worked for me recently.
• Flights commencing overseas, shopping at the Qantas mall, Qantas Hotels, Rental Cars etc do not activate the lounge passes.
• The minimum credit limit is $3k - keep your application low if you're only in it for the bonus points and want to reduce the impact on your credit score!
• Finally, unless you absolutely must - hold off on applying for supplementary cardholders at first. Amex often send out offers to give you a bonus 5k points for adding them later - so if you're a little patient you may be rewarded!

With a signup bonus like this, I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to get their first Amex or anyone who is eligible for a signup bonus to get this card, witha whopping 120,000 Qantas points for the Applicant, and a very nice 40,000 bonus points for me by clicking on this referral link here

As for the benefits, @exceladdict has mentioned it above. However to emphasize, the card earns a reasonably good rate of 1.25 Qantas point per dollar spent at most places which accepts Amex.

Don't have an AMEX currently or within the past 18 months? Then this is the card for you!

120,000 bonus QFF points if you spend $4,500 within the first 3 months. This is one of the highest bonus offerings I've seen with AMEX.

$450 travel credit to spend on QF flights for the $450 annual fee means this is effectively a fee free card.

2 QF lounge passes per year (after QF spend – just spend on QF offset/future planet to achieve this).

2 AMEX lounge passes per year.

Just remember that you cannot get the bonus points if you have held an AMEX issued card within the last 18 months. Bank or store branded AMEX (eg. Westpac or David Jones) cards do not count for this 18 month rule. Neither do supplementary cards.

Don't forget to get your free 4 x supplementary cards to be on board and ready for great AMEX cash back offers like smallshop (coming soon!)
