Mr Wombatcountry has one of those $129 Virgin Money certs from the VM Visa, expiring in 3 days. Can anyone here use it? Since he'd have to issue it from his own account, $129 would have to cover the entire ticket's cost. Never done this thing here, so please advise if there are any problems with this offer.

Hi Wombatcountry, I would appreciate it if it is still available. But before you send it, do you have any future travel planned, you can book it today for yourself if you have any forward travel planned.

Could you book a refundable fare, cancel down the track and get a refund and $129 travel credit?

Not sure about that... I think they would cancel out the expired voucher. We don't use VA that much because most of our travel is international.

Well, good luck to _flyer. Pity I didn't get in first. Very nice of you.

The credit is still available, but I think it can only be used out of Mr. Wombatcountry's travel wallet, which is why I was offering it to someone who can use it for a $129 ticket at most. If you need to travel between the eastern capital cities (or OOL), there are several cheap fares that we could ticket for you.
