15-25% bonus Velocity points on transfers (Feb-March 2019)

Rang up Amex today, got them to move my business card points to my personal card so reached over 500k points for the 25% bonus. Took a few hours of them doing some stuff in the background and then they called me back with it all done. Happy days.

Unfortunately can’t transfer directly to KF as probably won’t be able to redeem them within the 3 year expiry.

Well, with most Amex, points not transferred by mid April will suffer a 50% reduction in value. (Unless you are on of the ones where the MR will be doubled.)

e.g. Transfer 100000 MR points to Velocity on March 1st and get 115000 Velocity points. Transfer 100000 MR points on May 1st and get 50,000 Velocity.

I hold a platinum charge card, and received a letter that my points will be doubled.
But of course had I not been eligible for the doubling of points, I would have either taken up a combination of the 25% velocity offer and direct transfer to KF.

Does anyone know if the platinum velocity status upgrade was available on Amex green corporate card? I’m pretty sure it was but now virgin saying no!

I recently transferred 500,001 plus points from my Amex corporate green Amex to get the upgrade in velocity status to Platinum. Upgrade offer was part of the website t&cs as bonus transfer offer. Virgin now saying offer wasn’t available. I have to raise case with Amex and battle it out!

I believe it was only available to Ascent Premium members, which the T&Cs said? If you had a different set of T&Cs, then battle away!
