1hr30min - enough for a transfer in TPE? 3K to CX.

Hi all,

I was wondering if 1h30min was enough time for a transfer in TPE. Arriving on 3K 522 at 18:50 and leaving on CX 531 at 20:20. I know it will be tight, but is it doable?

Both operate from Terminal 1, I cannot see any issue with 90 minutes personally. Do you have carry on only as you may be able to transfer rather than go through immigration which can take a little while, max wait I have had was 30 mins.

I think it's do-able, either way. TPE is a very efficient airport, and I've never encountered long immigration queues. There is an airside transfer desk for CX and security queue, so if no bags should be able to use that.

Either way, your passport needs to be sighted by CX staff and entered into the computer before you can board. Make sure it occurs, otherwise you may have a few issues at the gate. (and they may have issues when they can't find your exit stamp from TPE!). Keep your incoming boarding pass.

TPE T1 is pretty old and a little ratty, but I still find it very efficient.

TPE T1 is pretty old and a little ratty, but I still find it very efficient.

It seems to have a lot more character than T2, which I found very boring, have not been there for a while but its on at least once next year, probably more depending on how things pan out, I have Computex withdrawal that needs a cure.
