Can't say I'm inclined to fly AirAsia X but this might work out for some with Amex cards. I believe they use the LCC airport in KL (not KUL Int'l) so be mindful.
Book with your American Express® Card and get two Premium Flatbed Fares with AirAsia X for the price of one. Available for bookings made from 12th October to 18th October 2015. Travel dates commence from 1 March and must be completed by 31 August 2016.

They fly from KLIA2 now, so much better than the old LCCT! I've flown them a few times when they've had scorchingly cheap fares and been satisfied.

Can't seem to find any seats at all using the link they have provided in the terms and conditions. Was looking for flights in March

I found flights when I was looking, but the difference for 4pax was only $800 less than checking the price against full revenue in another browser - not even close to half price.

Did you log in to the Amex site as part of your search? I only noticed that after trying to search for a while and haven't actually gone properly into it yet.

I did. It's $1932 SYD-DPS rtn for 2 pax through the AMEX site link (clicked through while logged in) and $2330 in a different browser through the normal site for the same flights on the same days.
