Hi All.
Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this.

We have already bought Emirates tickets Singapore to Athens in BC.

We were going to use our Qantas Points to fly Singapore to Perth.

I know Qantas wont send our bags all the way through to Athens as different carriers.

But if we were to purchase our Perth to Singapore flight through Emirates would we be able to link them, or get our bags sent all the way through to Athens and get all our boarding passes in Perth.

Saves us grabbing our bags, clearing immigration and checking back in.

Not a biggie if we cant. Done it a few times going through immigration and checking back in.

But would be great if a way to do it.

Thanks

Oops. Should said we were going to use points to fly Perth to Singapore.

QF will connect bags to EK on different bookings. It's only oneworld they don't.

I think it would be the same for EK-EK but someone else could confirm that.

In the OP’s case, EK doesn’t fly PER-SIN, and a QF award will be a QF code only. So per justinbrett’s post, booking a reward on QF will be fine.
