I just got this email. No expiry date AFAIK.

I'm not sure if it's only available when applying online (as linked in the email) or a phone application counts as well. I was advised by a Bankwest agent to apply over the phone rather than online, so I'm not sure if it's in relation to this promotion or not.

Just been looking at the platinum insurance booklet, but can't for the life of me understand the actual rules for the international travel insurance.

Must we use the card for the actual return airfare, or could there be a minimum spend like other cards? (ie: hotels or train / internal (Berlin to London) flights).....

I ended up ringing BW during the day, which they said a min of $500 must be used.

Indeed it is a good offer. I only scored the 8000 when I took mine out.

Worth noting that the Platinum annual fee has increased $20 to $160 and the points earn has gone down to 0.75/$ from 1/$.

Looks like QFF might be charging the banks more for points!!

Can anybody say, if they have received a 'personalised offer' from Bankwest, to upgrade from their Plat. Debit Mastercard to their Plat. CREDIT CARD ?

Is it likely, that in the first 3-6 months of having the Plat. Debit Card, with you turning over say $10k a month, that they would offer you the CREDIT card ??

Interesting. Online I can't seem to find any 20,000 point offer, only the 8,000. I have BW accounts and a MasterCard debit card, and the QF points are coming through to the account, so far so good. I've had no offer to "upgrade" the debit card to a credit card.

I "only" have one MasterCard (not used), so a good bonus points promo for one would be nice.
