20,000 point bonus Qantas f/flyer SIN sale packages

Just noticed today in QF's April inflight mag The Australian Way on page 137 there is a 20,000 points bonus offer if you book air & hotel on a QF Holidays package during April. This incorporates Singapore's annual 8 week retail sale.

You cannot use web fares or book over the internet but can use a travel agent as long as they use QF Holidays.

No points awarded on ff redemption flights.

Valid for travel on packages departing 01 April to 31 July 2010 however the link on the QF homepage says until 31 Oct 2010! See below link then click on advert in top right hand corner of page (refer below link).

Maybe they've realised so many people are booking flights and hotels direct on airline and hotel websites and are trying to entice customers back again. I thought 'package deals' were a thing of the past.

A few years Qantas were offering 10,000 bonus points for any flight + hotel package in Australia. I booked 2 of these from SYD for 1 night in each of BNE and MEL for a total cost of ~AUD700, 40 SCs and 24,000 QFF points.
