Virgin offering a 20% bonus on all auto transfers between 1st Feb and 30th April.

Fairly limited selection of banks to choose from - ANZ, NAB, Bank Of Melbourne, Bank SA and St George.

Also note that for both ANZ and NAB you cant now apply for a card and use the signup bonus to get an additional 20%

Details on the Velocity page....

Luckily I completed an ANZ signup a month or so ago and have been waiting for an offer to transfer...

miss the days of 50% bonus from ANZ... doesnt look like that will ever come back

still a really good way to get them into VFF then SQ for me

to understand correctly, If I have a points in my NAB account (eg. 100k) and turn on the auto-transfer and leave it for the promo period I will get the 20% bonus points?

I find the exclusion of sign up bonus confusing:

"This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other bonus Points offers provided by Velocity Frequent Flyer. If you receive First Year Bonus Acquisition Points as part of an ANZ Rewards Platinum offer during the Promotion Period, you will not be eligible to receive bonus Points as part of this offer on any points transferred from ANZ Rewards."

Does that mean if you've receive first year sign on bonus for Rewards Black, you can get the 20% auto transfer bonus?

If you have to leave auto transfer on until 31 April, why not just wait for the regular May bonus offer?

I was initially confused but checked and my understanding is that

If you recieved the bonus sign up points prior to 1 Feb 2025 then you will be eligible to get the 20% on the auto transfer but if you receive the points between the promotion period so on the 1-30 April 2025 you will not be eligible to get the 20% bonus

I also just saw this in the ANZ rewards portal and then I saw this thread.

I usually transfer points manually and don't rely on auto-redemption - therefore I probably wouldn't be eligible for this offer, unless I opt-in for auto-redemption?

I'm expecting 100k of ANZ rewards points to be awarded soon which equates to 50k VFF points upon redemption.

20% of 50k is only another 10k points.

I'm in two minds whether to opt-in and wait until the end of April for 10k extra points, or just continue with my original plan which was to cancel the card as soon as I redeemed the ANZ pts to VFF pts. 10k pts isn't much, but also isn't nothing I guess - it's a one way reward seat to SYD from MEL.

Leaning towards just doing a manual redemption once the 100k pts land.

If you are expecting 100k ANZ rewards points and they are a bonus then you wont be eligible for this bonus. You may also just wait for a bonus on a manual transfer?

Digging into the T&Cs, seems you're right unfortunately:

It's okay, an additional 10k points isn't really that much - happy with 50k VFF points and will then cancel / move onto the next card.

I won't be keeping the card in the hope of a possible bonus offer that includes manual transfers, irrespective if the points were acquired via a sign-up bonus or regular ongoing points.

For 50% bonus points I might, but not for 20%.
