I stumbled on this page on the Commonwealth Bank site today. Could be of use to someone who is not already a Commonwealth Bank credit card holder.

Once the gift card has expired, it cannot be used to secure a booking and it may not be reactivated. Offer will be non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-transferrable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash, credit or foreign exchange. Full booking terms and conditions apply and are available at flightcentre.com.au."
I wonder whether it could be used in conjunction with other offers eg for points?
