Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Need some help to qualify for WP. Right now im 180SC's out of qualifying. I plan to do a large amount of business travel in the next year but it's all Y so I think I would really benefit from having WP (and it's soo close!).

There are only two problems I have.

1. I have until the 31'st this month (January) to accumulate the credits.
2. Currently only have 31,936 points. I've been taking a look at all the JASA options but keep getting stuck because I don't have enough credits to fully book a journey.

I know this crops up all the time but if anyone could give me some ideas on ways to approach this, I would be ever grateful I think I would kick myself many times if I let WP slip being this close...

Obviously, I dont think I have enough points for this to work so if there were cheaper points+pay+pay+pay options, that would also work.

Have a great weekend. Thanks! Julie81.

As above, but I've recently seen options from say OOL-TSV via SYD and BNE. Only cost 24k points and you add positioning flights, depending on where you're based and you should be sorted.

Have you looked at Epiqure as a way of getting quick points, 20000for around $600.

I think in your situation the best option is to go for a trip to Auckland on LAN. For $764 you'll get 160 SC. To offset the cost of the trip you can also get duty free or claim GST back.

If you don't live in Sydney then you could easily earn the extra 20 SC with positioning flights for the trip. If you do live in Sydney then just go for a weekend trip to earn the 20 SC.
