Re: V Australia tops Qantas in Overall Customer Satisfaction

What about "switched years ago when they switched my main routes to Jetstar and have never regretted it since?"

Definitely enjoying the current and future improvements though - apart from all you new freeloaders on gold :)

Awww bugger, I don't know how to edit polls though, so the first one would be your best fit then ;)

Re: V Australia tops Qantas in Overall Customer Satisfaction

While I fly DJ now where the price is right, or the alternative is JQ, I am still waiting on their announcement on who there Asian partner(s) will be. That said, I do think I will be flying them or their codeshare partners more often in the years ahead.

I'll stick with QF since I have relatively little domestic travel, so alliance benefits are more important to me. That is something that Velocity can't offer me very well at the moment, although the tie-up with EY and later DL sounds very interesting (as far as preferring airlines per se, I wouldn't mind the former but the latter is a slightly different story...)

If my domestic travel increases quite a bit then I might well have a dilemma on my hands (either that or it's time to get and maintain (somehow) another elite status).

I'm not awfully surprised that customer satisfaction with QF is lower than VA. I'm actually surprised that the QF figure is quite high (i.e. both in the top ten list and at such a high %ge). Also, don't forget that VA/DJ recently picked up a record 5 gongs (or something like that) on Skytrax - not to be sneezed at.

As an aside, it sounds rather disappointing that the n for the survey used was - IMO - fairly low (3,613).
