It is interesting to hear that Daniel Ricciardo got a test drive with RBR. A sign of a permanent drive perhaps?

Unfortunately I think Ricciardo will only get the gig if the Raikkonen move doesn't transpire. There are a tonne of rumors so we'll see what happens but I hope Ricciardo gets the chance.

Surely Massa needs to leave Ferrari.

I think there's a few musical chairs to play out, but Verne should stay at Toro Rosso, and Ricciardo will hinge on Raikkonen who'll be waiting to see what the 2014 Lotus looks like.

Kimi might find the corporate demands too extreme at Red Bull - he'd prefer just to show up and drive the car....

Unusually for me I watched quali last night. Hopefully if the weather and track get hotter that may favour the Lotus and Ferrari a bit more. Alonso's Ferrari looked a bit of a handful, as did Raikkonen's Lotus. Expect another tyre changing festival interrupted by some motor car racing, hopefully Webber can manufacture something out of different tyre strategies and potential safety cars to put him in play but without KERS he will be getting in the way of a lot of faster cars.

I watched quali right up to q3 and then woke up at 2am on the couch!

I'm coming to the conclusion that DRS use should be reversed. Cars more than a second apart should be allowed to use it.

That brings them together but doesn't offer any advantage.
