2013 F1 Thread

Hey all... I figured I'd post this here as most reading this thread would be interested in F1...

Mrs D-H and I are heading up for the F1 race weekend in Singapore but arrive late on the Friday night and intend to make best use of the facilities at The Marina Bay Sands that evening...

So, the two passes I have for the Friday 20th September are of no use to me, and having learnt and earned so much from these fora, it's high time I gave something back.

The passes are for the Turn 2 grandstand and overlook turns 1 & 2, the pit exit and should have a reasonable view down the start/finish straight too. On track action on the Friday includes 2 F1 practice sessions, GP2 practise and qualifying, and the Porsche Carrera Cup practise.

The passes also allow you access to Zones 1-4 and to lots of entertainment - see here.

Let me know if you are interested and will be able to make good use of them. First come, first served. They'll be posted from Melbourne, and I'm happy to cover postage costs for anywhere in Australia but would ask for reimbursement if I need to send them overseas.

If I don't get a taker in the next 48 hours or so I'll re-post in the 'free to a good home' thread.

PS if you happen to be in the SYD Virgin lounge now for next half hour or so, you could collect them in person...

A very generous offer indeed day-heg, I may know someone who could make use of these if nobody else can, will send you a PM.

cheers
otis

Still a long day to go but.... Seb & Mark 1 and 2 in Belgium practice.

Other than having to pick up the bride from work, I'm going to settle in for a night of raaaacing! F1 and Moto GP.

Good to have F1 back tonight... buying a new washing machine tomorrow to help ease the pain with the good lady!

Belgium qualifying in the wet...nice! Who was it that said? "Just add water"?

What a thrilling Q3! Hard luck for Di Resta, but that's what Spa and its half rain does... I'm not sure if I need to watch the race now, had enough excitement.

Then again after the opening lap of Spa '98...

This is the best track for F1. It's my favorite race of the year.

Agree on the track, it is amazing. Was there in July last year and really got an appreciation for the elevation change through Eau Rogue. Was lucky enough to actually sit in the middle of the track and look straight down the through the corner. Amazing.

I was going to say he's had a few seasons to get that "clutch" issue sorted out. But by his leaving, I guess Red Bull have resolved it
Is that to be read wearing a Tin Hat?

At least Riccardo nipped into 10th by a nose ... he would need that nose next year if at Red Bull.

Well the results suited by Fantasy Racing team quite nicely over at the HH game, got in the top 10 for the week, only 24000 contestants shows how much traction F1 does not have in LOTFAP.

No..NEVER..Red Bull devote equal attention to both their drivers..:smirk:

Webbers age and experience didn't seem to win him any favours within Red Bull, lets hope DR's youth and inexperience carries him better.
