Picked mine up directly from Singapore like we do every year - it's just down the road for me these days
Hey all... I figured I'd post this here as most reading this thread would be interested in F1...
Mrs D-H and I are heading up for the F1 race weekend in Singapore but arrive late on the Friday night and intend to make best use of the facilities at The Marina Bay Sands that evening...
So, the two passes I have for the Friday 20th September are of no use to me, and having learnt and earned so much from these fora, it's high time I gave something back.
The passes are for the Turn 2 grandstand and overlook turns 1 & 2, the pit exit and should have a reasonable view down the start/finish straight too. On track action on the Friday includes 2 F1 practice sessions, GP2 practise and qualifying, and the Porsche Carrera Cup practise.
The passes also allow you access to Zones 1-4 and to lots of entertainment - see here.
Let me know if you are interested and will be able to make good use of them. First come, first served. They'll be posted from Melbourne, and I'm happy to cover postage costs for anywhere in Australia but would ask for reimbursement if I need to send them overseas.
If I don't get a taker in the next 48 hours or so I'll re-post in the 'free to a good home' thread.
PS if you happen to be in the SYD Virgin lounge now for next half hour or so, you could collect them in person...
Still a long day to go but.... Seb & Mark 1 and 2 in Belgium practice.
Other than having to pick up the bride from work, I'm going to settle in for a night of raaaacing! F1 and Moto GP.

Just about ready to take off....
Watching Skysports coverage atm, then flicking on the tv for the race. A bit excited!!
I think Webber has only held his start position twice (?) this year.Another rubbish start.. unless you're Vettel!

His clutch or was that his grip on being competitive? They spoke to him before the start and he did say he was worried about the clutch...
This is the best track for F1. It's my favorite race of the year.
His clutch or was that his grip on being competitive?
Is that to be read wearing a Tin Hat?I was going to say he's had a few seasons to get that "clutch" issue sorted out. But by his leaving, I guess Red Bull have resolved it

At least Riccardo nipped into 10th by a nose ... he would need that nose next year if at Red Bull.
