Ok, that one goes straight to the grammar thread.

I will try again...

I hadn't actually looked at the race calendar. Maybe we could have a race afternoon for the next Aust GP. In SYD for those not going?

I don't know why but haven't sounds better in that sentence.

When is F1 going to have a serious discussion about the merits of hosting an event in Monaco? Surly there are better tracks in other parts of the world, particularly ones willing to splash the $$

Who says motorosport is addictive, Kurt Bush has finished 500 miles coming 6th in the Indy 500 and has caught a chopper and jet to Charlotte to run in the Nascar 600.

We all know about Monaco but to me, F1 without Monaco would be like Christmas without Santa.

I agree, despite it being the slowest track I find it very much watchable and the cars are not designed for it, making for interesting moments.

"Because its Monaco" isn't a good reason. There is hardly any overtaking for position (which makes modern F1 even more painful). Almost any incident brings out safety cars, particularly on the opening lap, they may as well introduce a rolling start for Monaco. KERS and DRS add little value on this track.

I think there are now more reasons to move away from Monaco than to stay.

I think they should allow DRS in the tunnel.. might seperate the men from the boys. :D

Monaco I think is the only track that doesn't pay a fee to host the race. I think Bernie considers it to be one of the keystone races, probably because it gives the impression of the glitz and glamour of F1.

Indeed. It has been a long time since I've seen two cars select reverse!

I think Monaco is a must-have on the calendar.

Telecast starts 3.30am on One in Sydney. Race at 4am

And 3am or thereabouts on iPlayer or Vipsportsbox.

Thankfully not working tomorrow so will be up for this one, only a couple of hours earlier than normal anyway!
