Still confusing. How do Hainan, Qantas and Thai make the top 10 but JAL doesn't even get a look in? Hainan and Thai don't have PEY. JAL has skywider seats in economy and apex suites in business. And offers PEY pax lounge access as part of the product.
Probably something to do with demographics of those who fly JAL vs those who fly the airlines ahead of it. FWIW, JL is ranked #11.
IMHO on any given day any one of the top 16 could be in the top 10, and further than that most of them in the top 3 on a given day. Probably most perplexing is Air Asia at #20, but if measuring how the airline lives up to its expectations, maybe it does OK at meeting, or even exceeding the (perhaps quite low) expectations of those who fly it.
Interestingly JAL ranks #1 in economy, which is not surprising.
