What an absolute cracker of a sprint qualifying.. looking forward to the Sprint race and Main Qual tomorrow.

Bolted after HAM took pole listening to the F1 radio over 5G while walking back to the main grandstand and train station.. was crazy busy by that point but very very well controlled queue.. think 10 lines x 3 gates each let out in sequence.

Anyhow was back at my hotel by 5.45 (IHG Hualuxe Kunshan).. to my amazing suite but no club lounge (will do a short trip report on that).

Excellent drive from PIA. As for DOO, well, not the result he would have wanted. In saying that, I see some positive signs in that he wasn't realistically that far behind GAS and he's also not afraid to get his elbows out. I was particularly pleased to see him fight to retain 14th (penalty pending) to the end against HAD as it would have been easy to just give it up.

Feel sorry for LAW if this happens, but TSU deserves a shot and I still believe RBR were premature in promoting LAW to the main team.

Flawless race from Oscar - so satisfying to watch after Melbourne. Excellent Doohan drive too.

Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly have both been disqualified from the Chinese Grand Prix after their respective Ferrari and Alpine cars were found to be underweight in post-race checks.
