Not enhancing my impression of BrisVegas
It is the second time I have stayed there. Last time I was the guest of a HH Diamond and the room and service was better. Next time I am there (11 May) I will also be diamond so I will see what the difference is.

Did 5 stays over Xmas and it was amazing the inconsistency between stays two days apart in many cases.

Stay 19
24 April
Hilton On The Park
Booked: King guest room
Received: King exec room
Upgrades: 18/19

2 bottles of water, welcome note, turndown, mints

A regular stay with a very attentive lounge attendant. She was new to the role and it was quite obvious that the ethos of the other attendants has been passed on.

Stay 20
30 April
Hilton South Wharf
Booked: King guest room
Received: King exec room
Upgrades: 19/20

2 bottles of water, turndown, chocolates

A pleasant stay where I tried the exec lounge dinner with straitman and penegal before I headed off to a meeting. It was disappointing that the advertised $37 cost was not made clear that it was for one course only. The meals themselves were not quite up to the standard we expected. Straitman and I had an opportunity to speak with the guest relations manager and passed on our thoughts which were well received.

Breakfast was good and I think we missed the crowd as it was not busy.

One more to go!

Stay 21
1 May
Hilton Adelaide
Booked: King guest room
Received: King exec room
Upgrades: 20/21

2 bottles water, chocolates, turndown

The turndown was comprehensive with the amenities renewed, bins emptied and water bottles replaced as I had put the first two in the fridge. We called into the exec lounge 10 minutes before close and the attendant was very cheerful and pleased to see us. Food and drinks were offered a couple of times whilst the cleanup was underway.

Breakfast was as good as always. This was my last stay as part of my diamond challenge and very pleasant at that.

I look forward to seeing the difference in upgrades and service when next I stay at the various Hiltons.

I will post a summary of my stays soon.

Congrats on completing the challenge - that should stand you in good stead for another 23 months.

By the way ... where was the last stay? Adelaide?

CONGRATULATIONS :D
I have had some fantastic upgrades as a Diamond and I know you will to.
Enjoy the ride!
