Have fun all.

I'll be sitting at the office wishing I was there. Made even worse by being in the Darling Harbour office on this amazing day watching people outside exploring and having fun.

By chance are there any Flounge guest spots available?
If not I'll just have to slum it in the QP.
I'll be arriving @1200.

As am I! Express passes in hand. Unfortunately my cunning plan has failed to come to fruition so we will have to procure JQ BPs in SYD

You actually don't need express passes when travelling on a "D" sticker. It is a waste of an express pass.

The optimal solution is to use the APEC and Crew line on the far right of the checkpoint. This is the published route for "D" passengers.

I'm already here - but busy working for a few hours......

I'll be social at lunchtime when everyone arrives ;)

In the meantime.....ahh there's the Tatt refill :)

Wait - you got early check in?

Umm not really. My father in law made good use of my last 'D' sticker express pass last week. ;) My mother has also been known to make good use of such express passes as well.

Are we talking about the same thing?

When travelling on JQi Domestic Tag sectors you do not need an express pass. The D sticker on your boarding pass entitles you to use the express line and the APEC / Crew line. Therefore using a hoarded express is a waste of a good express pass.

Hoarding D stickers is also useless now, as it is extremely difficult to get a JQi boarding pass outside the international terminal check in which affixes one anyway. JQ are also reluctant to do an early check in anywhere.

Am I missing something... Is there some secret new way that I am not aware of??

Yes you are missing something. I can hoard an express pass when traveling on a D sticker by using the APEC lane as you suggest. That express pass can then be passed to family members (without status) who make good use of it when not traveling on D stickers.

Depending on the security lines an express pass is very handy, as a D sticker will not get you through the express queue for that.

***NEWS FLASH***

It is with regret that JQ35 has been delayed.

It is most unfortunate, and of course Jetstar is very apologetic for the inconvenience that they have caused.

It's pretty poor conditions here, but we're holding up ok.
