I just lodged a support enquiry with MyPost to get them to chase up my 2,000 points, hope I hear back from them soon

Rather than start a new thread, I will follow some of the colleagues on here:
Has any one gotten any VFF points for paying bills that they have received via DigitalPost, esp PO Box statements? Or any other bills, VFF says we can earn for bills more than $50.
If you don't get digital bills for PO Box, any bill will suffice.
I don't have any rate bills for the names on the Digital Post listing, the city council where I do have a property is not on the list.
Sorry, late starter in this Digital Post thingo, just got my offer from Aus Post to have my PO Box statement sent to me digitally, and they offered it via Digital Post.
I do realise that this thread is about the bonus, I couldn't find any other threads about Aus Post Digital Post on here.
Any info appreciated, ta.

There is no means of paying a bill via the Digital Mailbox unless that bill was received via the Digital Mailbox.

Post Billpay and the MyPost Digital Mailbox are two very separate products and there's no Velocity tie-in with Post Billpay.

Additionally, just because a biller lists Post Billpay as an option on their bills does not mean you can use a credit card to make a payment. Often you'll want to use an alternative payment channel for any scheme card points earn.

The PO Box bill will be digital mailboxed.
Aust Post are wanting to save postage and printing of the invoice I would think.
I didn't join during the 2 k VFF points bonus time.
As for card type of payment probably will use VGW.
Edit: ah, TheEvilMuppet, ta.
I see.
So its just the delivery part of it that we get points for, not the billpaying part of it?
Surprising no one has replied, maybe I am just boring!

further to this, If the post Billpay comes with Billpay code and reference number, then you can select Paypal (which means amex as well) on the website.

No, it doesn't mean this - at least not in the majority of cases.

Not every Post Billpay biller opts in for Internet payments, with many only signing up for IVR/phone or Over The Counter payments.
Additionally, PayPal acceptance is selected on a case-by-case basis by billers - not all accept PayPal, with some accepting PayPal for some bills and not others.
Whether or not one's American Express transactions are treated as being submitted to Australia Post is an interesting question though - PayPal are able to set the MCC on a per-transaction basis.

Billers who accept American Express directly via Post Billpay of course will only attract 0.5 points / dollar for non-bank issues American Express cards.
