Is it possible to have both ANZ Black QF as well as ANZ Rewards Black?
Yes. And you can get the sign up points for both if you meet the exclusion periods. Obviously, you will need to meet the credit criteria, given that you’ll then have high limits.
Correct, you can have both and receive bonus points. You use to also be able to hold the travel rewards card (now discontinued)Is someone able to confirm if this is still the case?
In their terms,
for the QANTAS cards, they say "You are not eligible for this offer if you currently hold or have held an ANZ Frequent Flyer credit card in the last 12 months",
and for the ANZ Rewards / Velocity cards, they say "You are not eligible for this offer if you currently hold or have held an ANZ Rewards credit card in the last 12 months. Offer starts 12:01am (AEDT) on 15 May 2024 and ends at 11:59pm (AEDT) on 15 November 2024".
Therefore, you could apply for the Frequent Flyer (i.e. QANTAS) card, meet the spending requirements to receive your QANTAS points, then, not long after, apply for the Rewards (i.e. Velocity) card, with this card still open, meet the spending requirements and also get the Velocity points.
Have I understood this correctly?
Thanks for the confirmation @Scr77 - that's great news.Correct, you can have both and receive bonus points. You use to also be able to hold the travel rewards card (now discontinued)
Nab allows you to hold / get the sign up bonus for their Nab rewards and Qantas cards separately. Westpac technically don’t, but there is no exclusion from doing one Westpac and one St George / BoM / BSA card. Thanks for the confirmation @Scr77 - that's great news.
Are you aware of any other similar situations with other banks?
