Cleaning up some clutter on my desk and I noticed two Qantas Club Invitations lying around which I cannot use. There's only 3 weeks left until expiration (Jan 2016) but I thought I'd see if anyone can use them.

I liked Coops' earlier thread with free offer conditions so I'm gonna offer similar but slightly different conditions. Requestor must:

1. Be travelling and able to use the passes before 31 Jan 2016, preferably in an overseas club
2. Have at least 50 posts on AFF (as per profile)
3. Not hold status Gold or above
4. Contribute to the forum with valuable and worthwhile input
5. NO PM’s, just post a request with condition 4 being met, you just need to be self-compliant/honest in meeting 1 and 3 above

This offer will be reviewed Saturday afternoon (9 Jan 2016) when I will decide who gets the goodies (based on the above conditions). I will cover postage within Australia as regular mail, sent Monday 11 Jan. My decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into.

I'm 2.5/4, but thought I'd throw my hat into the ring anyway! Big ups to you for putting your passes out there.

1. I'm travelling MEL-PER on QF with a friend on 22nd Jan (and back on 31 Jan).
2. I have 9 posts... ba-bow.
3. I'm a nuthin' bronze!
4. Here's me noting what happened when you call QF customer service when the mASA booking engine changed: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....e-scs-classic-awards-55106-21.html#post925317. I'm not sure if it was helpful to anyone but I hope it was!

Hi Goldmember,
I don't quite meet all your conditions (QF Plat) but thought I'd throw my hat in the ring for consideration if nobody else meeting all requirements puts their hand up.
Travelling SY-LAX with wife, mum and sister on 28 Jan and would use the passes to take mum + sister into J lounge. (Mums first flight overseas, nervous flyer so a champagne beforehand would likely help)
Good on you for being generous and offering the passes up!

My dad is flying on JQ163 out of Melbourne to wellington in a couple of weeks time. He'll be leaving melbourne after midnight and getting into Wellington at 6am it would be great to let him use a lounge to relax in.

Cheers

Completely unrelated, but Orca our trips to the US seem to miss each other by only a matter of days. I'm on QF11 on the 2nd of Feb.

Again! We were a few days apart back in Sept/Oct from memory! I'm back on QF12 on 12 feb... You?

I think you were a couple days before me last time, I was on QF11 on Sept 29th.

Coming back on QF12 on the 1st of March, nice extended stay in LA this time! :)

Half your luck - enjoy it!

How nice of you Gold Member, I don't meet all the requirements but I'll try my luck.

1. Our family of 5 is travelling PER - SYD - HNL on 18 January with a 2.5 hour drive prior to the flight, we were going to bring towels to have a shower at the airport but would love a lounge shower instead for my daughter and I.
2. No, but I'm getting there!
3. Bronze QFF
4. I hope I've contributed a little with my NB questions!

Hi Gold Member,

Thank you for putting such a generous offer out there.
I would love these passes as my partner and I are flying to NYC on QF (SYD-LAX-JFK) on 18/01 for our 21st birthday's and have never had the opportunity to experience any of the QF lounges (mainly due to lowly QF Bronze status!).

I am quite new to this forum but have found it an invaluable resource and have tried to contribute where I have been able to!

The most worthwhile input on AFF was for an Amex card promotion thread I started: http://www.australianfrequentflyer..../amex-platinum-rewards-credit-card-58196.html

Thanks & All the best!

Hi GoldMember! Thanks for the generous offer!

1. My partner and I are flying QF17 SYD-LAX on Wed Jan 13 afternoon (so the mail might not come in time though!). Had a bit of schedule flight change issues that RedRoo helped out with here!
2. Yep, just past that threshold!
3. I'm an NB
4. You can see from my profile, been trying to be more active and helping out mostly the CC side of things!

I've put my name in the Lounge Meetups section (and also suggested additional info to be added to that thread to help new members), and checking that to make sure if anyone can guest us into QF intl J!

Totally understand if you think the mail won't come in time, but thought I'd put my name in the ring!

Awkwardpaws they're all yours. I will send them express mail first thing Mundy morning to ensure you receive them before your flight. Please PM me your details.

Great gesture GM allowing someone without status to experience the mood-lighting. :)
