Qantas
Platinum
I hope QF brings on their promotion, again. Will help me retain Gold and even may challenge me to go for Platinum.

Didn’t it happen in April, so I wouldn’t be expecting it till next year. And then I’ll hope I get selected and have to work out how I manage it :p

Again?

I was given the offer back in 2004 when I had no idea what I was doing and just scraped in Silver.

Please Qantas give me the offer now....

what criteria does QF normally use from your experience?

They virtually put all the pax numbers who have status on a big dart board, take around 1/5 of the total numbers in darts and then virtually throw them at the board, if your number gets hit you get selected! And it often happens in April as the last half of the financial year is when traffic is at its worst.

What markis10 s trying to say is that no one knows for sure.

We all assume there is some algorithm that encompasses factors like current/previous status, value ($$) of customer, closeness to the next tier etc etc.

I might need this for 2011. Looking like a light year by comparison - just domestic, India and the UK... :( Could be bye bye OWE finally
