3 people on a booking but 1 cant travel anymore

Hi all

Couldnt wait the 2 hours to speak to someone at Jetstar so I thought I'd see if anyone on AFF could help. I have a booking for 3 people for a Melb - Cairns return flight. One of the people doesnt want to come on the trip anymore but the other 2 want to go. We're all on starter fares and Im not really interested in seeking a refund but was wondering if this would pose any problems if only 2 of us checked in? Would the return flight be impacted at all? Thanks for any advice or guidance.

Ive had to do this on a recent JQ (award) booking. Easily done on phone

Thanks guys - managed to finally get through someone on the chat and they said there is no real issue as the person will be marked as a no show and the rest of the passengers can travel unaffected.

I'll still probably advise Jetstar that they wont be travelling but might do it closer to the date.

Yes worth waiting as if there is a schedule change you should be able to score a refund (i didnt think of that with my award booking so copped the points penalty)

If someone in your booking no shows which with JQ is Likely non-refundable, you get a neighbour free seat
