30 SCs required to get silver; is it worth it?

I'm going to go against the grain (as I always do) and suggest getting a QP membership instead. Most of the advantages of PS, with lounge access thrown in.
Of course PS has more bragging rights than a QP membership. ;)
 
I am not sure if its worth it to get Silver myself, its was quite valuable with I got LTS a few years ago but now I suspect the changes make it less so, for me the main benefit would be the increased miles bonus on the longer flights.
