SG and 250k-ish points, no offer, like many others here I wouldn't use it anyway, have never used my points to fly Y, and not about to start now....

Got the offer. What a joke!
Yeah sure, I'll burn 48,000 hard earned points and $500 in tax down the back end when for 3,000 more I can fly up the front with someone else!
Sorry, if the same cynical reply has been made already but I'm too lazy to read all the posts.

Could it be related to DXB stopover rather than SIN or BKK or HKG ?

We love an Asian stopover and have/will continue to select OW airlines that provide this as an option.

Can't imagine we are all that different to most other people!

Agree, much prefer an Asian stopover.
But I prefer asia to dubai in general :D

Last time I saw an offer with such a huge discount on points it was to SYD-NRT for 25,000 return, when they had very low loads...:Eek

- Platinum
- Enough points for a return classic award booking

Did not receive an email.

I think QF would rather I purchased toasters....

Do you mean you fly 2 people to LHR in the pointy end for only 51,000 points? Please do share... :-)

No I think they mean with 51,000 points they can fly to LHR one-way in business class with Malaysia Airlines.

Right! Not a direct comparison though, is it? Albeit I also did receive the offer but believe it is too narrow a window-of-opportunity and also poor value...
