This is one of the few accounts running a rewards scheme where Bpay to a credit card earns points. There's also occasional decent bonus points offers for spend at merchants. The points can be used to buy GCs or transfer to VA.

Reminiscent of the Bankwest deal some here exploited, I did a few months' worth of daily bulk $1 payments before they warned me, then a couple of months more before they banished me from the rewards program. The length of my credit card bills was hilarious. Be sure to burn points as they're earned, don't stockpile.

Still have the use of the account but since Citi Payall ended, I've no use for it.

I had the same thoughts but their terms cover this very clearly. Specifically call out small transactions. 😭
