... I'll pass on the silly 4 cents a litre off which is whopping 3% return, and I do laugh at the people lining up for petrol on a Wed night for 20 mins waiting for 4 cents a litre.....

It's not 4¢/l on Wednesday nights - you can get that any old time!

It's simply that the price will likely be 15¢/l or so more expensive Thursday morning. :-|

Sorry wasn't quite clear on that.

Because the BP 50 metres up the road which has the same price (before the 4c docket) is deserted.

People flock and wait in a line for 10-20 mins to save $2..

Doesn't worry me really though, I'll fill up on a Wed night/Thurs morning and get the 3 Amex points per $1. The offer expires on the 31st March, hope they extend it.

The V Australia promo is SENSATIONAL. Bonus 3 points per $1 spent with VA. I really hope that continues

Going back to the original offer, which I am signed up to 5 MR bonus pts /$ spent - does anyone who got this remember the T&C around this?

Not that I have many transactions on my Australian Amex, I do have some grocery transactions around Xmas and last weekend when I was there. The only bonus points that have come through are for a single transaction made on 8 March, all previous ones (including another made on 8 March at different supermarket) have no bonus points. Typical of an Amex promo I guess..

I only used my registered Amex Choices Card for supermarkets and have received 5x bonus points for them. I ended up buying WISH card with it to ensure I get more additional point upfront. I think this promo will end on 15th March this year, ie by next Monday.

Has anyone actually gotten their bonus points? It's been well over the 8-10 weeks time they said to get the bonus after the promotion ends. I have not yet see the bonus in my statement.
