Today I received an offer for 50% more Status credits for bookings made up until 26th January 2015 for travel until 20th May 2015 for all eligible bookings ( both domestic & international) using a QF flight number on your ticket.

Anyone else receive a similar offer via email?

I got it too. Good timing for me as I'm in the process of booking one trip to Europe and one to US. :)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I did get a targeted offer, but NOT for SC. Mine was for 50% extra FF points !

My offer (as platinum) received yesterday was for double points for car hire by 31-March from Avis only.
Mrs comforttravel's offer (as gold) was for double points for car hire by 31-March from both Avis and Budget.

I got a very lame double points on Qantas international partner hotels *delete*

Was really hoping for double SCs, looking at booking Europe travel.

Same here, got the hotels offer and don't have any plans to use it. I usually do my bookings directly on the hotels websites (with occasionally price match).
Would love to get something I can make use of like 50% more points or SCs.

Just got this offer on Thursday. Fortuitously, I was just about to book my flights for a conference in London, and meetings in Glasgow. Registered for the promo then booked SYD-SIN-DXB-LHR, LGW-GLA-DXB-MEL-SYD all in J for 680 SC plus 50% (LGW-GLA is BA so doesn't count towards the bonus). All up I should get a total of 1000SC (680 + 320) for a trip I was taking anyway. Pretty happy with that.

Does anyone know if the bonus SC count towards your loyalty points bonuses? If so, I pick up 3 of those in one trip.

Yes they do IIRC

I got this offer as well and it covers early November where I have a trip planned to the US (PER-SYD-LAX return on QF flight numbers). However I've already booked the ticket. Would it be worth cancelling and rebooking under the offer?

If you value the bonus status credits more highly than the cost to cancel your existing flights, yes.

Sorry for being OT: Did you receive my PM re AMEX Velocity?

Yeah, difficult situation. I quickly ran the cost vs points and while the cost per points works out more efficient than my current booking, I'd end up paying significantly more for the flight overall. Might have to give this one a pass :(

So when do the bonus SCs post
(got 15 more due).

mind you I did get a popup on website that I had already qualified and already have new card

Hi there. Happy Sunday. Is this a targetted offer or open to anyone?
Many thanks,

[TD="align: left"]Make your next journey on Qantas even more rewarding with 50% more Status Credits* when you fly on eligible flights with a QF flight number on your ticket.[SUP]^[/SUP]

This offer is valid when you register using the link below and make a new booking between 5 August 2015 and 11 August 2015 for travel until 3 December 2015.

Don't forget to include your Frequent Flyer membership number in your booking to receive 50% more Status Credits for every eligible Qantas flight[SUP]^[/SUP] booked and travelled during the promotional period.

Interestingly, I've already got enough SCs to re-qualify for gold (anniversary end-September), but still need two squiggles, so can't really make the most of this offer. Still, might book trip to NZ in November to get started on next year's requalification.
